Privacy Policy

Effective Date: April 6, 2026

Introduction

Welcome to Evolve Empathy, DBA Evolve Equity Psychology, Inc. (“we,” “us,” or “our”). We are a management and strategy consulting firm committed to protecting the privacy of visitors to our website. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices regarding that information.

By using our website, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Information We Collect

We collect two types of information through our website:

Information you provide voluntarily: We collect your email address when you use either of the following features on our site:

  • Email Updates & Resources signup — to subscribe to our mailing list

  • Booking page — to schedule a meeting with us through Wix’s built-in scheduling tools. You may also optionally provide your phone number to receive text message appointment reminders.

These are the only instances where personal information is collected, and both are provided entirely at your discretion.

Information collected automatically: When you visit our website, certain data is gathered automatically through analytics and cookies, including:

  • Browser type and version

  • Operating system

  • Pages visited, time spent on pages, and navigation paths

  • Referring website or source

  • Approximate geographic location (city/region level, not precise)

  • Device type (desktop, tablet, mobile)

  • Anonymous usage patterns and interactions

This automatically collected information is gathered in aggregate form and does not personally identify you.

Cookies & Tracking Technologies

Our website uses cookies — small text files placed on your device — and similar technologies to understand how visitors engage with our site. We use the following types of cookies:

  • Essential cookies — required for basic site functionality such as page navigation and security.

  • Analytics cookies — help us understand visitor behavior so we can improve our website experience. These are provided by third-party services such as Google Analytics.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to refuse or delete cookies. Please note that disabling cookies may affect certain features of our website.

Email Updates & Resources

Our website offers a voluntary signup form where you can subscribe to receive email updates and resources from us. When you sign up, we collect and store only your email address.

We use your email address solely to send you the updates and resources you signed up for. We will not share, sell, or rent your email address to any third party.

How to unsubscribe: Every email we send includes an “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom. Clicking it will immediately remove you from our mailing list. Once you unsubscribe, you will no longer receive emails from us unless you choose to sign up again.

Booking & Scheduling

Our website includes a booking page that allows you to schedule a meeting with us. When you book an appointment, you provide your email address through Wix’s built-in scheduling system. You may also be asked to provide your phone number.

Your email is used to confirm your appointment, send reminders, and communicate any changes to your scheduled meeting. If you provide your phone number, it is used by Dr. Williams to contact you directly to discuss your needs and coordinate appointment details.

Your booking information is processed and stored by Wix on our behalf. All contact information you provide — including your email address and phone number — is kept strictly confidential and is never shared with, sold to, or disclosed to any third parties. For more on how Wix handles this data, please see the Wix Privacy Policy.

Wix Platform

Our website is built and hosted on the Wix.com platform. As a result, Wix may place its own essential cookies on your device to support core site functionality such as security, fraud prevention, and performance. Wix acts as a data processor on our behalf, handling visitor data according to our instructions.

Wix may also collect certain technical information as part of operating the platform. For full details on how Wix handles data, please review the Wix Privacy Policy.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • Email address (mailing list) — solely to send you the updates and resources you opted in to receive

  • Email address (booking) — to confirm your appointment, send reminders, and communicate scheduling changes

  • Phone number (booking) — used by Dr. Williams to contact you directly to discuss your needs and coordinate appointment details

  • Analytics data — to understand how visitors use and navigate our website, improve our content and performance, identify trends, and ensure the technical stability and security of our site

We do not sell, rent, or trade any information collected through our website to third parties.

Third-Party Services

We may use third-party analytics providers (such as Google Analytics) to help us understand website usage. These providers may set their own cookies and collect information in accordance with their own privacy policies.

Email addresses and phone numbers collected through our signup form and booking page are stored confidentially and managed through the Wix platform. Your contact information is never shared with, sold to, or disclosed to any other third-party services.

Data Retention

Analytics data is retained for a period consistent with our business needs and the default retention settings of our analytics providers. Because this data is collected in aggregate and anonymous form, it is not linked to identifiable individuals.

If you subscribe to our email list, your email address is retained for as long as you remain subscribed. Once you unsubscribe, your email address is removed from our active mailing list. Email addresses provided through our booking page are retained as part of our scheduling records for a reasonable period consistent with our business needs.

Your Rights & Choices

You have several options for managing your privacy on our website:

  • Unsubscribe from emails — click the “Unsubscribe” link included at the bottom of any email we send to immediately stop receiving updates

  • Disable or delete cookies in your browser settings

  • Enable “Do Not Track” signals in your browser

  • Use the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on to prevent analytics collection

  • Browse in private or incognito mode to avoid cookie storage

Children’s Privacy

Our website is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because our site only gathers anonymous analytics data, no individually identifiable information about any visitor — including minors — is stored.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. When we do, we will revise the “Effective Date” at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
